hi guys and girls.

would anyone on here happen to know the colour code for the engine bay on a silver evo 8?

it looks slightly darker then the exterior colour and without a clear coat ?

iv been scorching for a while but have not found any luck

any help would be much appreicated

 

From the factory it's the same color as the exterior of the car I thought ?

Like already mentioned its the same color as the body. Also note that mitsu cheaped out in the engine bay, trunk... etc and did not use clear coat. Just look at the driver side fire wall for the paint code.

 

iv been told its the same but without the clear coat, yet it still looks darker than the exterior ?
or is that just because it doesn't have the clear coat and engine bay gets a bit dirty over the years ?

 

I'm sure the clear coat might have something to do with it. Maybe also because the engine bay doesn't fade from the sun light

 

but if what your saying is true, would the colour be lighter not darker ? unless the clear coat makes it lighter?

 

any more advise prople ?
