Question Help!! Body kit questions from a new owner!

Hello all!

I purchased my Evo 8 at the start of summer and I love this car to bits. However, I was extremely stupid on the ice the other night and I wrecked my front and back bumper. What a great start to the new year. I have a few questions for all you experts:

- Should I keep everything stock or go for a new body kit?

- Price difference between a decent body kit and the stock parts?

- Is this something I could do myself or should I get it professionally done? If so how much would that cost and is there a lot of custom work involved?

- What are some good brands and what type of material should I look for? I need something that will be weatherproof, I live in Canada and it gets pretty cold up here. I will also need something that will ship to Canada.

I will post pics of the damage later tonight if you need to see.

Get a Evo 9 Front Bumper and a JDM Rear Bumper. I dont know what Canada's looks like though stock so maybe you dont have the USDM version.

If you do an 8 front bumper again, do a nose chop to it. If you dont know what that means, search it on here. It looks great. And then yeah, do a JDM rear while you are at it. I would definitely have a body shop do the work.

I got into a similar accident to start the new year. Let me know what you end up getting autovon. Trying to figure out the differences between the fitment/price/look to the OEM ix bumper verses knockoff. I own an evo 8 as well.

I will let you know! I've been looking into it and I think I'm going to do the nose chop if my repairs aren't ridiculously expensive, and the evo 9 bumper if they are. Definitely going to go with the JDM rear bumper though, that would look amazing.
