What a dramatic improvment. Without the wing and the altezza lights, it's much less boy racer. Now if you could do something about the vent on the hood you'd have the ultimate sleeper.

 

I'm wingless. I still have the factory wing on my original deck lid that I plan to use at the track. For the street, however, I prefer no wing. Too many cops in the NOVA area. It's just one MORE excuse for getting pulled over.

I like the wing functional and "traditional" wrt to evo's. If I wanted a sleeper I would have bought something else

Much much better with NO wing for sure. Makes the car look more "mature" and not so ricey...

 

I like the no-wing look, but IMO, it would look better if it was painted. (Pre-empting JDM carbon fiber team street ricer backlash: I know that if you paint it, you can't see the carbon fiber. That is the point.) The car looks a little classier with no wing and the VII rear lights...but who are we trying to fool here?

Me, I like the way it looks with no wing, but would appreciate the downforce at track days. Catch-22, I guess.

 

I don't think the wing is ricey at all... the Evo has always had a similar wing, it's like tradition!

i have to agree i think al's car looks better with the wing on. The carbonfiber is ok but not for me. It looks too much like a reg lancer without the wing so what it is not a sleeper i want them to be scared of me, i would lose the spare and my seats before i lose the trunk and the wing.
