Keep my car Silver or change color?

I am looking for opinions on whether or not I should do a color change paint job. My car is currently Apex Silver but I am thinking about changing it to another color. As of right now I am considering Alpine White but I am also open to suggestions, so if you vote for a color change, please post what color you would recommend. Also, I might put the car up for sale in the future as well so not sure if changing the color would affect things. Appreciate the help.

The AS is a great color, but I have a thing for White Evo's as well. Alpine white would look very nice. Esp with your wheel set up.

The problem with changing the color is not limited to just the exterior. If you have the funds to do it right, then it's your choice in color. For the money, keeping the factory color is a better way to go, as the job would be minimal and cleaner.

I would honestly vinyl wrap and see what color you like. I say a purple with some heavy flake in it like the new kia optimas paint.

Aslong as you change that bumper and skirts, silver is perfect.

get silvered detailed- the pop you get might make you just keep it.

Thanks for the replies so far, I am considering keeping the silver and maybe get a re-cleared to give it more pop. I just couldn't decide which direction to go, which is why I posted this thread. I thought that the look of the car might be better suited with another color, although silver looks good as well.

I personally have a silver evo and love it... I would say keep it silver and I am not sure how paint works, but maybe you could get it clear coated again and have them put a pearl in the clear if that's possible. Once again I am not sure if that could even be done.

It will also cost a ton to get the entire car painted properly (engine bay, door jams, etc.) Looks like its swaying towards staying AS in the poll. Perhaps retouch up your AS, and wax it every other week to keep it fresh as possible. Could always wrap it, or plasti dip for a cheap view at what it could look like.

Im looking into possibly re-clearing it with a satin finish to give it a different look or do a vinyl wrap to see how I like a different color.

On a side note, what is everyone's opinion on the body kit? should i keep it or go back to a stock/lip set up? i like the kit because it is different compared to most evo's being stock/lip set ups but sometimes I feel like it is a bit too aggressive looking.

My first Evo was silver and one of the main reasons I sold it was b/c I really didn't like silver that much. I also had a black Evo, which again, I did not really care for the color. My 3rd blue Evo I loved. I am one for bright colors, blue Evo, my laguna seca blue e46 m3, laser red g35 coupe...

I think that car would look really good with a really deep dark red to it.

I also have a Apex Silver and am pondering changing colors since I'm doing a full build anyway. I fell in love with a Chevy Burnt Orange Evo, and would love to do something like that.

Keep the silver. Can look really good with slight accents(black/carbon) and the best part about silver is imperfections don't show up nearly as much as other colors.
