So im buying new fenders, but need your opinions on these. I have two options. I would go for stock ones but they are more expensive/harder to find.

Option #1: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2006-Mitsubishi-Evolution-8-9-Duraflex-MR-Edition-Fenders-Body-Kit-/121271993133?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c3c5fc32d&vxp=mtr
Option #2: http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-04-05-06-MITSUBISHI-LANCER-EVOLUTION-MR-8-9-VIII-IX-JDM-PAIR-DRIFT-FENDERS-/310575688638?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AMitsubishi%7CSubmodel%3AEvolution&hash=item484fc0ebbe&vxp=mtr
Im leaning towards the single vented option 1 fenders, since i might be reselling my evo. What do you guys think?

If I had to pick one, it would be the top one.
The bottom one is angled funny, like unintentionally positioned wrong or something. It might be that the color isn't flattering on it, but it looks like someone bought one of those glass-in panels and did it themself.

Which would you tell him to get? FRP or Carbon? FRP is fiberglass too, aftermarket fenders arent really offered in aluminum or anything His only real options are fiberglass or carbon lol

The first one is Druaflex, which is still Fiberglass based. However with the rubber in it, it makes it bendable and resist cracking.

If your going to get any aftermarket part Duraflex will be the least prone to damage. Also ED (who makes Duraflex) usually has some what decent fitment. Not perfect because no after market piece really is, but i would trust ED more then some no name brand off of ebay. My Draflex front only needed a little sanding around the headlights, and if i really felt like it, a little fill.

If its on a stock body evo then Id say option 1 but if you have some other exterior bits that would support the 2nd option then I would go option 2.

HI, I have the option 1 from DE, go for it, just need to check:
- it has all the pre-cuts
- the under cover part behind the mirror is most of the building errors (mine didn't have it)
- also the middle holder at the door side is other missed from factory
- during the shipping with hot weather season, it did a weird reaction and twisted a little causing big adjust, was a really big pain in the ** but the body-paint store helps me a lot and now I love how my car looks.

Summarizing: Go for it, check the fenders, look for the same screw holes / pre-cut parts, put the fenders to check a best/perfect fitment ... some modification will needed, but at the end you will love how it looks.
