Mitsubishi Metal Shift Knob

I was looking to buy a Mitsubishi shift knob for my evo. I was just wondering how heavy is it? I have read that more weight gets rid of the notchy feeling slightly. It sure made my Eclipse feel better once i got a momo shift knob that thing weighted a ton. LOL

I have it. It's smaller than almost all the after-market ones I've seen. I wouldn't call it heavy though.
It fits the palm of your hand perfectly for crisper shifting too!

It isn't heavy, but it has more mass than the stocker. Much better feel imo.

I had it, and sold it. I thought the knob was too small. I was actually grabbing part of the shift boot when shifting. It did have a direct feel when shifting though.

I have the Vishnu Ti knob. Its definitely heavier than the stock one and taller. Coupled with Redline tranny fluid, my tranny shifts much easier and smoother these days.

my 2 cents..

I have it and I really like it. It is smaller than most but that does not bother me. It is not that heavy but heavier than stock. It does look really sweet though and I like the Mitsubishi motorsports logo written aroud the center.

i have the mitsu blue shift knob and i love it... you get a much crisper feel... and the extra mass helps you throw it into gear much quicker... it looks nicer then the vanilla leather one

Its a very small knob. I prefer something bigger.

I just picked up the Greddy counterweighted nob and I love it.
Shifting feels much smoother. My roomate also has an evo and after testing out the greddy knob he ordered one. It is a little smaller than the stock knob FYI
