Jdm IX Rear Diffuser color help please
Jdm IX Rear Diffuser color help please
I've been looking all over and i havent found a definite answer to my question. What is the color and paint code for the diffuser part of my OEM JDM Evo IX rear bumper diffuser. My bumper is i painted and goin on my 05 Wicked White evo 8 RS. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you!!
I just had the shop that painted my JDM rear match the tow hook cover since that comes already painted the correct color. Came out looking perfectly matched.
I believe the actual code is this taken from another thread. MITSUBISHI MEDIUM PURPLISH GREY MICA A39 CMA10039 2004-2008 04/05

EDIT: I could be wrong on the code I posted, Demon has it as A02. The code above is what I gave the shop and we ended up just matching the tow hook like I said.

I plastidipped mine flat black just to test out an idea, and 6 months later I still really like it. I think the flat color makes more sense than gloss. It's also not peeling or anything after many washes, and because of the shape you can't see any uneven spots.
Normally I'm obsessed with consistent OEM looks, but I think flat black is how it should have been from factory.
