I couldn't find the info either. Instead I bought the JDM tow hitch cover that was already painted and had them color match it.

I believe it's a "consensus" that Eisen Gray is the closest real color to the rear bumper insert

Paint code is A02

I just had the shop that painted my JDM rear match the tow hook cover since that comes already painted the correct color. Came out looking perfectly matched.

I believe the actual code is this taken from another thread. MITSUBISHI MEDIUM PURPLISH GREY MICA A39 CMA10039 2004-2008 04/05
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ser-color.html

EDIT: I could be wrong on the code I posted, Demon has it as A02. The code above is what I gave the shop and we ended up just matching the tow hook like I said.

Even if they do, I would get it painted along with the bumper if you're going to be painting that. Ensures a perfect match that way

Just got mines painted and we used A02. The cover does come painted (got mines from Mitsubishiparts.net) and the paint matched perfectly.

What Twin Cities shop painted your bumper Pennies? I just picked mine up, and I'm looking for a shop to do it up!

Thanks!

I'm just having someone who does it on the side to paint it. He's still wet sanding it due to some imperfections. Overall, i wouldnt recommend him.

I plastidipped mine flat black just to test out an idea, and 6 months later I still really like it. I think the flat color makes more sense than gloss. It's also not peeling or anything after many washes, and because of the shape you can't see any uneven spots.

Normally I'm obsessed with consistent OEM looks, but I think flat black is how it should have been from factory.

i was thinking of wrapping it in cf wrap. would look great since the wing is cf in the middle as well.

That's actually a REALLY good idea… Let me know what it looks like if you do it, I may run the same route.
