JDM Diffuser color ?

I'm getting my JDM rear painted, and since I have Blue By You, I wanted to be sure the color is accurate when getting the diffuser section repainted...

does anyone have a color code for what color grey the diffuser is? Or should I just get gloss black and be done with it?

Thanks for any input!

Being that I have GG IX, I had mine done in a sem-gloss black so that it could be seen, but not too shinny. I wouldn't paint it body color though! It's too much color. You need the darker color to 'break things up' a little bit...That's my two cents.

Oh certainly not going to paint it body color, completely agree with you. Yeah gloss black might be my best bet for my rear. Thanks

Oh really? I got this info from someone else here. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...nt-code-2.html

Sorry if I provided wrong info. I guess best bet is to bring tow hook cover to body shop and let them custom mix it.

No problem. I think I'll just play it safe and do gloss black, will probably save me some dollars in the end rather then trying to get the exact paint.

I figured it was the same grey color as the dash and shift area of our cars, could be wrong though..?

Off hand, does anyone happen to know if the color of the JDM IX diffuser is the same as the color of the X diffuser? I realize that this may be the wrong sub forum but, either way it would be equally wrong to pose my question on a X sub forum, wouldn't it?

I'd enjoy seeing a pic of your GG car with the JDM rear. Full color of course!
