2005 evo 8 electric blue-> Iceland

wanted to share my car here with you guys, great forum, have got alot of great information from you guys!
bought the car in november 2012, the mods were then 3'' exhaust and downpipe, invidia o2 housing, CAI and tune.

the front shocks started to fail so i bought bilstein shocks from evo 9

first thing i had to do was change the timing belt, and seals for the transfer case, was leaking pretty bad, i saw that the small o ring was missing from the previous owner when he replaced the clutch.

the car needed new tires so i bought nitto 555r

then i wanted to start tuning it myself, so i bought innovate AFR, and tactrix cable.

then the clutch started to shutter heavily!! i bought new clutch and flywheel.

sandblasted some parts while i was on it.

and paint

at this time i was starting to map the ecu myself, flashed no lift to shift from tephra. worked very good !

now i wanted some more power ! so i got a great deal of gsc s3 cams

now im upgrading my turbo, got 3071 billet wheel, td06 shaft and new hotside, and i machined the compressor cover to match the wheel. also im taking out the internal wastegate and modding it to external wastegate.(thanks turbolab!)

my friend is building new o2 housing for the external wastegate with dump.
like this.

turbo is ready !

i bought tial watercooled wastegate for the external setup

my main focus is to build a track/dd car, will also go to the 1/4 mile and check the what time i will get ! when i bought the car, my best 1/4 was 12.7@108mph

what do you think ?
thanks!

How much does the machining job on the cover cost you?

video i made, started to put 11.6psi wastegate spring, but there was massive boost creep, was seeing 18 psi in 3rd gear, so i put 8.6psi wastegate spring in the wastegate and its boosting 12psi in full boost, so i think next step is take the turbo out and port the gate were the internal flapper was so the wastegate can flow better, think that is the problem, it isnt opnening fully.
really like the power of the 3071 turbo.

still on stock injectors! pretty much maxing them on 16psi, but pretty safe yet, never lean on the top end.
