Some Headlight Fun

Well after seeing this picture..

Looks way better.

I hate my chrome headlights, but I'm too scared to open them and mess them up.

Thanks! I hated the chrome too and yeah it was a very stressful task haha, I was so nervous. I should have cleaned the inside of the lens better but other than that they came out pretty good.

You've got wheels turning in my head... Im going to have the chrome bezel hydrodipped into a carbon fiber print.... im way too excited about this. lol

you have to use high temp paint on the housings though, keep that in mind it would suck to spend money on the hydra dipping and it melt and ruin your housings

Looks good, I like the green. Do you have pics from any other angles? I'm thinking about removing the amber corner piece too

i dont know about hydra dipping, but i opened my housings and painted the chrome with regular old satin black spray paint for plastics and its been fine for the past 2 years of driving it. and i have oem HID's

Hydrodipping survives on valve covers so I think it will perform well inside a set of headlights. That being said OP good job and good motivation for others to get it done too!

thanks guys!

I do have more pictures at different angles that I can upload later after work.

&Im pretty sure I just used normal plastic and vinyl paint also, good so far

&The blue in the first picture(im guessing is what you mean) is just a bulb reflecting off the reflector housing
The green, I took the projector apart and painted the back housing, you can see in the thread link I posted.
