Thanks! I hated the chrome too and yeah it was a very stressful task haha, I was so nervous. I should have cleaned the inside of the lens better but other than that they came out pretty good.

you have to use high temp paint on the housings though, keep that in mind it would suck to spend money on the hydra dipping and it melt and ruin your housings

i dont know about hydra dipping, but i opened my housings and painted the chrome with regular old satin black spray paint for plastics and its been fine for the past 2 years of driving it. and i have oem HID's

&Im pretty sure I just used normal plastic and vinyl paint also, good so far
&The blue in the first picture(im guessing is what you mean) is just a bulb reflecting off the reflector housing
The green, I took the projector apart and painted the back housing, you can see in the thread link I posted.
