wax carbon fiber?
ummm... i've heard BAD things about waxing CF... i think it depends on the construction procedure, and something about UV protection... but to tell you the truth, i'm not exactly sure about the details. i DO know that VIS told me NOT to wax my CF hood when i picked it up from them. they said it would eventually lead to discoloration. again, i'm not sure why, specifically.
i'd certainly investigate a little further before waxing.

If it has a clear coat/gel coat, you can wax it with no problems. The Evo owners manual even states that to keep the cf wing from yellowing over time, you should wax it with something that includes UV protection.
But whatever wax you use, make sure it has no abrasives in it!

back when i had a cf hood on my type-r everyone was saying to use marine wax, for boats and whatnot, but i used 3 diff types of meguiar's wax and never had any problems... just had to wax the cf more often than the rest of the car to keep up the shine. -rob

Zaino has UV protectant in it, I believe. As long as you are using the clear coat safe Zaino, you should have no problems.
I use Zaino on my car also. But I use Meguiers final glaze on the wings cf...but that is just a personal preference.
