Does anyone with a CF hood run without hood pin? If so any problems?

I've got a VIS CF hood on my car using the stock hood latch. No problem so far.

any pics of the VIS hood. I almost got that hood but I didn't like the second vent on the passengers side.

usually if you pay more than $700 for a hood you don't need pins

Sorry, no pictures of mine. You could find one here, I think. There is no second vent, it looks exactly like the stock.

If you want to be doing high speed runs often, get the pins, they just make sure the hood won't fly off at 120+ MPH. Otherwise, I wouldn't get the pins, they look bad.

I just ordered a set just in case. My painter would be pissed if my hood would fly back and smack the windshield and roof. just for safty not for looks. even thoe they will look bad ***
