Thumbs up >>>>Antenna mod with pics

Well I stopped by the local Honda dealer today and picked up a Honda Element radio antenna. This is similar to the S2000, but doesn't have the same tip. I like the Element antenna better myself.

PN# for the Element antenna is 39151-s6a-e01. It cost $28 after tax. I also picked up a kitchen faucet rubber washer for $0.61 after tax from Home Depot.

Someone else on here did this mod, I just thought I'd post pics so that everyone can get an idea of how it looks.

The faucet washer is used to fill the gap between the antenna and base.

Stock antenna pic below.

Awesome mod, so how tall is it? Shorter than a Perrin antenna, becuase I hear that's probably the best one.

The S2000 antenna works just fine without the washer.

if you buy the ones made for VWs you will not have the gap and wont need a faucet washer thats what I have from my old VW. the make them in all colors and polished or chrome. Aluminum or rubber.

I will post pics if you want but let me know first, this is not my thread
