Evo 9 Deck Lip

Sorry to bring this back from the dead. I've been looking around for the "right" lip and fell in love with the Deck Japan example. Any updates as far as availability or replicas?

I have a 8 and have thought about going Evo 9 front bumper, but last time this had peaked my interest none of the replicas of this lip were decent on fitment.

Speed element sells a s2 designs lip made of polyurethane that is a deck replica, I just got it and it looks really good. I haven't fitted it to the bumper yet but when I do I'll post up pics, but from all the pics I found online the fitment is decent.

I just actually dm'd them on IG I'm sure they will answer you here on pm also. Here's a picture that I found of the s2 designs lip as far as fitment goes.

I have the s2designs deck replica also from Speed Element, should contact them on IG or call them directly since they aren't active on EvoM anymore. Fitment is 100% and it's good that it's not carbon fiber so it won't instantly blow up if you hit something

Question for you since you have one, the oem undertray will bolt up correct? I noticed there's like a built in cover on the s2 designs lip where it seems like the undertray would connect.

I'm not running the oem undertray but if I remember correctly theres tabs or extra material for you to drill holes to mount the undertray if needed

This looks like it would actually work as a splitter, how would this affect our already sagging bumpers that are barely holding on with the few remaining clips we have left?

Fitment isn't bad at all. I have seen some people get theirs to fit really well. Be careful as it sits really low. Ive cracked 2 already

I wouldn't...this description was copied from the nengun website. So it would probably rip your bumper off or cause more sagging if your bumper is barely hanging on as it is. But then again I'm not really sure how much of that has transferred over to the replica?!!?

Looks good to me! How's the fitment on those AME's? 9.5 +22 do they clear calipers without spacers?

AMEs look so good right?I ran a 5mm spacer up front to clear the caliper and never had issues for the 2 1/2 years i ran them.

Sadly, the wheels are up for sale as I went to a slightly wider wheel

Haha are they on offered up? If so I think I saw them on there...kinda peaked my interest. Yes they do look good, but pretty aggressive I don't think I want to go that far out. Thanks for the info tho
