OR u could just buy a large piece of red vinyl, wet ur tails, put the red vinyl over it, spread out the water bubbles, and cut off the excess.

heres what it looks like on my RSX. i redded out the amber turn signal, if ur not familiar it would be to the left of the 1st circle. its like a rectangle just before the curve from the back to the side of the car.

 

where would you get this red vinyl from?

 

u can order Oracle 8300 Transparent Red Vinyl from different websites on the internet. i got a couple pieces off ebay that were the right size for the RSX, maybe like a 1ft x 5" but u can buy rolls.

 

Haha I remember being on clubrsx.com and reading the thread about where a ton of members called this company, I think the one you mentioned, and all asked for samples of candy red or whatever color vinyl samples, and in the beginning the company would send out 2 sheets of the vinyl until they finally got a few hundred requests all for the same color and I guess they caught on .

I think the smoked out stock tails look wonderful, that or the MR's. I love the stock smoked the best, however.

 

i like the tails that are on the evo7, they look sooooo much better than that altezza crap. that's my opinion!

 

I was thinking about the VII tails...but I decided to get some MR's from Vivid Racing (Thanks again Dan!!!). Guess what's showing up...TODAY!!! WOOHOO My MR tails!

 

in my opinion, VIII's will be fine, they are not called altezzas just because the IS300 used them first.
VII is definitely not for me, i think it looks too plain, and boring.
I will definite vote for JDM MR tails, they are way sick than the other two.

and you know, save the money and mod your evo faster.

 

The pink reverse lens are a carry over from the mirage since in other parts of the world the reverse lens are crystal clear or close to it. Clear reverse lens aren't done in America, except for luxury cars. Don't know why? Double standard . . . look at the modern RX300. Any more clearer, it will be invisible.

 

Evo VII TAILS!!!!

 

The vinyl looks to ghetto for a 30K performance car. The evo VIIs are a great investment. The only car i wouldnt put the VIIs on would be a LY (needs MR tails) or BBY (not sure what looks best). The Red, Black and White evos all look awesome with VIIs...

 

No matter how you cut it paying $400 to have different colored tail lights is RICE. Function over form... Now with that said I rather like the look of VII lights and if I decide to go with that look I will go with a very practically priced $20 vinyl overlay because they look wonderful and they make the most sense. I've never heard of someone being called rice for leaving their car stock. If the VII came with lighted winshield washer nozzles would you buy those too?

 

I need to respectfully disagree.....the evo came with riced out tailights because at the time the parts were probably approved for US import Japan though we were still in this fast and the furious mentallity. No vinyl over lay kit looks anywhere near the real VII tails. These are some of my favorite tails i have ever seen on any reasonably priced car. How is importing OEM direct replacements from Japan rice while putting a red sticker over your light is not? The later sounds like something a high school kid would do to his civic.
