if you wanted so much to keep the "lancer evolution" theme going and not give into the JDM trend and stick with yoru USDM evo theme, why not stay with the stock badges and relocate those to the middle of your trunk

Nope. Main reason is that our cars are NOT the same as the Asian/European spec Evolution VIII. Since the car is badged "Lancer Evolution" in the US I decided I didn't want an Evolution VIII badge. Then I got the idea for this and said "what the he!!"

OK, so youre completely wrong. interesting. The US EVO manual says refers to the car as the Evolution VIII, advertisements refer to the car as the EVO VIII, and for goodness sakes, take a look at what your floormats read.
