Best car TV?

I'm planning on putting a indash flip out TV in my ride. Which one is the best? Best brands? I also want to get a flip down at least 12 inches for my truck. What are the best brands? I see so many out there I don't know which one is good. Are there things I have to look out for?

I have a 7" Eclipse AV-3432 touchscreen/dvd/headunit for sale. Not to thread jack, but I honestly think these screens/hus from Eclipse are unparalleled to anything i've seen, with the exception of Pioneer's 7500 series.

ditto, i have used every brand of headunits for many years and have installed stereos that are unrivaled. Eclipse, without a doubt is the best quailty, refresh rate, hz rates, contrast brightness. the best.

however, they are also the most expensive.

a good way of telling a good screen is to watch fast action on it and look for the ghosting of LCD's and you will see eclipse has none, that is a very fast refresh rate.

Deceit said it, eclipse is unrivaled...except for the 7500!!! A guy witha black evo about a 1/2 mile away from me has it in his car and does it look good. Touchscreen, good color, contrast, etc...and the plastic matches the OEM silver. I think it is the most expensive HU at 2200-2500 bucks, but it's well worth it if your into good quality monitoring and overall appeal.

I would love to buy it but I was not looking to spend more the $800. Are there anymore brands that are good?

well, it depends, the one deciet has, has a dvd player built in. you wont find one like that for less than 12-1400. if all you want is a flip out dash screen, sony makes one that sells for 900. but it is only a receiver, you will need to add the dvd player, cd changer seperately.
