EVO VIII interior done by Wasabi/w pics

I have been using these installers for some time now. I know one of thier names is Mike, but anyway they both used to work at earmark a while back and they are some of the best I've seen.

I hope everyone likes the way it turned out. It's sort of half finished right now I spent all my money on a dynoflash. Try to picture everything but the a-pillars color matched to the silver around the shifter. John

4" in the pillar with 6.5's in the door. I had 6.5 boston pros in my wrx, these JL's cost half as much and sound better I think.

I Love the glove box set up man. I did the exact same thing with the ash tray a few months back

That was Mike's idea. I was skeptical at first, but it makes a very nice soundstage this way. It's right in your face, they even did a full focal setup on a sti and thought this sounded better. All because of the location.

Maybe its just the picture, looks like you loose alot of the sound, and end up w/ serious delay issues on the highs.

As long as it sounds good, very clean man.

My head unit does have a time correction feature so I'm sure that might help a little. I'm sure I do loose a bit of sound this way, but with everything reflecting off the windshield and the 6.5's down low it gets very loud. I also have a couple 12 JL W6v2's in the back so I can barely drive when its up all the way it distracts me that much. I hope I get used to it soon.

Another thing I was worried about was visibility, and this allowed a less bulky design so I can see just fine.

Thanks, I'm glad everyone seems to like it. I have one question though.

Should I paint the glove box and pod to match, or leave it contrasting like this?

I like the glovebox idea...

Question?

Boost Guage...

Why is it all the way down near your toes?

jcnel.
