because I like to look at my toes while driving so it seemed the most logical place
Seriously though, all I need to do is hear my warning buzzer if I boost to high. Anyway no matter where it was at it's dangerous to watch WOT I have a memory function for that.

Well Looks good I suppose... but with your logic on placement of the boost gauge, you might as well anchor it next to your head, so you can hear the beep better. =\ I dunno, the point of having a boost gauge is to see your boost while you're driving... but whatever you like man.
The only reason I bought a boost gauge was so I could turn up the boost and make adjustments during cold weather. If you boost varies so much that you need to constantly watch it mabey you should have your car looked at because that isn't normal. Mine just does the same thing over and over again so I dont understand wanting to watch it all the time. Thats similar to ladies putting on make-up while driving but worse in many ways.
For "show" the set up is good but for functionality and practicality, I really don't get the glove box placement. I like the controls where I can easily access it without reaching across to do adjustment. Like I said for "show" it's good. As for the pillar speakers, to me it looks like a "tumor".
I thought of that but I plan on getting the craig hardy panel eventually. I had gauges in my wrx's a-pillar so this time I wanted something a little different. To fill a craig hardy panel full of defi's will take me a while, so for now this is perfect. When I do upgrade I'm sure I'll move the boost gauge up and put something less important down there.
