Sorry for the post above, but I hate people that post about stuff they know nothing about. I don't want to start a war, but since it is my car, I thought I should at least clarify reality from fiction.

Kontradictions - No problem on posting the pics, or more pics if you have them. Now that it is out, I would like to see more if you have them.

Evo542 - we probably have removed approx. 170lbs from the car.

Hueman - This was our first track day with the Vortex generator from the EVO MR. Since it was at Streets of Willow Springs and the speeds are relatively low, we weren't able to notice much difference. It will probably be more noticeable in high speed cornering where aerodynamic downforce is noticeable.

Value - We're running Yokohama A032's.

Metaphysical - Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, the brakes were as much as my first car. However, they are amazing, with zero fade lap after lap. Just hope my wife doesn't see that credit card statement.


Wish us luck next week at the SCC USCC. We'll need it as there will be some serious cars there.

 

And mprtklr, take a good look at the respectable Mr. Sparco's avatar, that's what the car looked like BEFORE the change. What a moron; he should be banned.

I definately like the majority of the car in white than when it was in blue. Looks good.

 

heh, well first i'd like to say WHITE CARS RULE!

second there are vinyls that are glossy with base colors another thing is that its really hard to tell the difference between white vinyl and white painted cars since white barely shows any reflections unless its off-white.


back on topic: Maaan i want those mirrors but i'm not sure how practical they are for daily driving on the freeways Yoko Advan A032Rs are bad ***! its too bad tires arent as cheap to get here unlike in Japan or other asian countries.

AAR makes them those carbon fiber hood and trunk, and yes they do have them for available for purchase...however, it is really expensive. $3100 for both!

mprtklr: I have read numerous posts of yours on the MR thread. You seem not to think the MR is coming, IIRC.

Now you say that people here are a bunch of followers...what the leader says, etc. Well, you say leader, I say OWNER (of the SParco Evo). I'm not sure what's causing your anger issues (I'm guessing you're in your early 20's with a chip on your shoulder. Like we don't have enough of those people around), but I don't think people come on this board for acceptance. THey do it because they like the evo.

Not sure if you're a contrarian or a trouble maker, but for me all this false braggadocio on your part is getting tiresome. Please find a new hobby. Thank you.
