Burnt/melted bumper courtesy BR exhaust :(

Well my Bushur Racing exhaust burnt the hell out of my rear bumper and I'm not too happy. Thinking bout selling the exhaust buying something else and replacing the rear bumper. The exhaust burnt all the way through the side towards the passenger side of the car and it just looks horrible Any suggestions on a replacement? I'm not too keen on the USDM Evo VIII bumper and was looking at the JDM Evo VIII or the JDM Evo VII bumpers...anyone tell me where I could find these and for about how much? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't the install paperwork tell you how to "properly" install the exhaust?? You shouldn't have to rely on info from a website to install a aftermarket part correctly.

I've had my BR turbo back exhaust on for almost a year and have had no problems yet.

no, some of the exhaust that got made where really FUBAR!!!! thats why they just sent me a whole new cat back system (dp and test pipe where still good) my exhaust was really bad also, it was hitting the carrier bearing the rear diff. and the bumper, i had it on for maybe a week and it tore up my bumper!!!! but i was smart enough to look at it and say this isnt right and take it off before to much damage!!! just call david and tell him the prblm and he will get it fixed for you!!! hes a good guy! good luck wit you prblms!!

Ditto. I had a rattling problem and David offered to take it back and exchange if it couldn't be fixed. He's really customer friendly. Fortunately I tugged and bent till everything fit better.

It didn't come with any instructions so I couldn't tell ya. Btw this is the JDM "style" exhaust .

Instructions generally aren't need for an exhaust. Just one of those things...

Thats great and all but the exhaust is not the issue. I asked where can I find a new rear bumper. Thanks.
