Gagues, Mitsu or Aftermaket?

Ok, im planning and saving what im gona go to my car, and i want to have atleast a oil temp and a boost gague. So here is the question.

Should i go to Mistu and say i want the sports meter package installed into my car?
Or should i buy them from an aftermarket place and then have them installed?

What one looks better, what one is cheeper and last but not least, what one is more functional?

Aftermarket, stock gauges dont exactly read accurate and they are in a ****ty position under the radio. Go aftermarket. Aftermarkets look better too cause you can choose what u want, mitsu is all the same.

Also i have seen many of diffrent types of gauges, what ones should i get, or would i be ok with just the boost and oil temp gauge?

Most people around here are going to recommend the Defi guages which are very nice. The downside is that there are expensive along with most other JDM guages. I went with VDO guages from 42 Draft Design, they are black with white lettering and Orange needles. I got the red led's which are supposed to match closely to the stock color. I paid $135 for the guages, sensors, wiring and the DIN plate, which is less then most people spend on one guage. Maybe I am cheap but VDO makes accurate and good guages just not a lot of bling IMOH.

Look at this thread, post 7,8,9 are by Evo 007 and has the exact guages I got, with pics from day and night.

Only difference is he used a Mitsubishi radio blank cover which he drilled hole in and I used the 42 Draft Design panel. Which you can see here:
