the remote and the voice control were like $50 delivered. the unit cost me like $1,400 and the install was almost $200, but well worth the money. like i said earlier, i wouldn't recommend on doing this yourself. if you need more info pm me anytime.

sick, I have been looking at this receiver... I have found it for like 1520 shipped, where did you find it for 1400? Do you have the rear-view camera?

 

i have this same unit and i love the voice command.
however i dont like that fact that its only a 2 volt output inlike my pioneer dvd6500 i sold was a 4 volt . which was much louder.

 

the prob with putting it in the bottom is that with the lcd up, it'll block the a/c controls. but you can control the angle so you can prevent it from hitting anything.

 

Yeah but your screen viewability would be angled down. There is a way to make it work. You would need to fabricate something that couldextend the mounting of the unit forward which wouldn't make it look too akward.

 

hrmm i would love to see pics of it on the bottom... or any lcd for that matter
