I went with the checker board floor in my home built race shop. I plan an doing some heavy spring cleaning this weekend. When you see my new pic of the garage you will see my new toolbox that I bought to tidy things up.

My shop kinda looks like your garage, but I chose to keep most of my projects inside.

I will post more pics of my garage and shop soon...

Stay tuned.

Quote: Looks sweet! I know where you're coming from.....

My Evo lives in style, too! We spend so much time in the garage that we can't just have it be a "typical" garage. We've done the epoxy floor thing, but went the Home Depot route and I can vouch that stuff is crap from there!! We followed the directions word for word and the s hit still chipped and wore away where the tires rest on it overnight. So, we went with Race Deck flooring and LOVE it. It's not as inexpensive as the epoxy flooring, but we both have always wanted a back & white checkboard floor in the garage so this was the choice for us.

Check out the "tool box" too.....it's really a mini fridge! If ya look, you can really find some cool stuff to make for a cool garage.

Real nice. I just checked out the site. How much was your set up? What style did you get?

Thanks.

GreedMoto.....I would love to see your shop when it's done. Make sure and post up!

gonzo....we went with the diamond style tile (how appropriate!). We have some diamond plate accents in the garage so this went best, as opposed to the other styles. The flooring cost about $1100 with shipping to cover our over 400 sq ft 2-car garage. We also made the "checkers" bigger by doubling up on each color so the floor wouldn't look like the smaller checker board flooring you would see in a candy shop. It was WAY simple to install and took a couple of hours from start to finish. The only thing that sucks is the white is a b itch to keep clean, as to be expected. We have to wash out the garage once a week (don't tell the H2O Dist!!). Maybe we're just too **** about it being clean. O'well, if the car & truck just got a bath, why not the garage? It's gotta look good, too!

Can't afford a keg, let alone drink one alone...bottled to pint glass is the way to go.
