Freshly Zaino'd, tons of pics!

Well, 6 months with no wax, I finally got the time to Zaino her. I spent a whole week meticulously doing so. Washed, claybarred, washed again, Z5 polish, Z2 polish, Z6 detailer, windex'd all glass inside out, rain-x'd all exterior glass, rotated tires, polished wheels, polished brake calipers, and lastly tire shined the tires. Yes, it sucked to do all that, but the outcome is a superbly aerodynamic car that wind just slips across . The car feels like an air hockey table now !

That first bug splat is gonna **** you off!!! LOL. But seriously, lookin good! I'm jealous of your hood, I live in CO and already have about 20 chips down to the gray from all the rocks on the road, which is easy to see against the red. But when it shines it looks awesome!

looks beautiful.... if you want a pointer... its better for the car but also better for you to wash/wax more often because it means each job is easier on you and a good coat of wax stays on at all times... 6 month is a long time for a coat of wax to stay...

I've got chips alright. More so on the bumper. For some reason, they never show up in pictures. Argghhh...rust and brake dust all over my one-day shiny wheels already.

Yes, I know, there was a time period that I wasn't supposed to wax it cuz some of the panels got repainted after it got keyed. Plus, I don't drive it in the rain, so I think it's ok in my case .

I did the same to my Rally Red, took an entire Saturday from 8am-5:30pm! (I only used Z5 at that time), That was 5 months ago.
Since then I've added one additional coat of Z3 (the stuff for non-clear coated paint), and touched up the hood, roof and rear end, (when I noticed the water beads getting small when I washed it).
You know the Z2 is for clear coats which the Rally Red doesn't have.
