Question Color matching head lights?

Everyone is blacking out their headlights. Looks great but has anyone considered color matching it instead to the body... kind of like the ferrari 360 modena? Something different... but think it would look good?

I've seen it done on a few other cars, IMO it looks very cheap. I don't know why, it just does. Combined with some light tinting and/or silvering, it might look good. I'm not sure I'd experiment with the Evo's HIDs though.

The headlights on the red one here, and the yellow one on the cover of Motor Trend, look like crap. IMO of course.

i think the whole shape and placement of the headlights matters ... if it's on top of the hood at that angle, and much more molded in, then of course it'll look better than our rolling bricks...

I actually like the car. Don't care for the ferrari version either. I think it reminds me too much of a model toy car.

Ferrari is getting rid of the body-colored headlights for the new Modena:
