what is that stuff? I don't recognize any of it. anyway, do something about the wires! preferably, run them under the carpet.

I'll post pics in the next few days of my setup, but it's a wee bit different.

i started looking at the pics and was expecting something huge and something impressive since you stripped the car. but i must say i'm dissapointed. anyone in the car audio business (like myself) with any bit of common sense knows audiobahn makes inferior subs. they blow so easily. if you went that far, why are all the wires exposed and why are you using a prefabbed qlogic box? and why did you waste your money by putting components in the rear when all the rear speakers do is produce musical fill? i give you credit for the fact that you did the work yourself and that you are happy with it, but i'm puzzled by the fact that you didn't even hide your wires. oh well. not my car. good luck with it.

Wow. And how many hundreds of pounds did you add to your Evo? Good job making your car slower.

well, I'm not going to hate --surprising to some if you read my posts in the tech forums.... but in principal I would say that you should spend money up front and have had numerous systems with no rear speakers whatsoever. I'm using the stock rear speakers and have them bandpassed... pretty typical rear-fill application.
