Bleaching amber acrylic lenses?

How would one go about turning amber acrylic lenses clear? I remember reading something about baking them to remove the dye, but unaware of the proccess or if it's true. If anyone can shed some light into this subject it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Not possible, this is the outside lense for a srt4, the ones on the bumper. My friend wants to get them clear without buying clear ones, and I thought I remembered a way..
