Finally did my headlights.

Finally did my headlights.

Well I finally got my headlight blacked out. I thought it was going to be hard but when I saw Noel(solarxclipse) do it at Works I started doing it after wifey got done with my "taxi service." so here it is:


Parts I had to take out:



Here is one light done:



Noel(solarxclipse) used a flat black primer and after a flat black paint.
I saw this at HomeDepot and thought of giving it a try since you don't have to sand and it is made to paint plastic and yes that silver on the headlights are made of plastic. So let see how this will work and how long it will last because I know the HID gets hot.


So here are the finished lights. Notice I blacked everthing including the silver on the turn signal(not the amber driving lights) but below it.






The only thing that was a b*tch to take out was this radiator plate because those plastic push-in screw tabs were tight as hell once their on.

nice pics as well...i do hate seeing an evo in peices but the finish is worth it
