The evo in top gear is not the MR that's coming to the USA, it's the MR fq320 which has 300 hp. It costs about $50,000 in England with the ridiculous British taxes added. There is a new evo, the MR fq340 which has 330 hp stock and should smoke the Gallardo easily on the same racetrack, it costs about $56,000 in England. The only bad thing about these evo's, besides the price, is that I think they don't come with a factory warranty. To give you an idea of how bad the UK taxes are the new basic C6 vette costs about $70,000, in the US it costs $43,000. I guess somebody has to suport the royal family.
