They're $99 because they are hand made (obviously, being carbon fiber) and are really nice quality. The guy who makes them posts on the Mach V Forums ( www.machvforums.com ) and is a perfectionist. You are getting what you pay for. If you don't want it, don't buy it. The thing is really a nice piece, though.

CF parts are not for everyone, especially dress-up / cosmetic parts that serve no purpose in making the car lighter or more aerodynamic. However, the guy who started the thread specifically asked for info on where he could get a CF armrest cover, and this information was given. Must we continue to bicker over one person's idea of style or functionality?

 

So why bother looking and/or posting on his thread ?
