Picked up a Set of 18x9.5 +27 NT03s

Previous owner said he ran 5mm in the rear(I think?) and they fit the Evo 9. I have an 8 not that it matters.
Said nothing about the front or anything

I was gonna run 5mm spacers all around, I was also going to get hub centric ones, but I am a bit confused, do I need to get the hub centric adapter rings to go from 64->72 on top of the spacers?

Ive been reading up that people are doing 10mm in the fronts only? Id like to keep them uniform.

The car is stock height currently cause my driveway is aids, and was planning on getting some 255/35s, unless I can get away with larger? 265/35 maybe?

You're going to need to do a full roll + some pull + likely a bumper bolt delete for those to fit in the rear, even without a spacer.

Well ****

Might just put these up for sale if this is gonna cost me a ton of money, the previous owner kind of ripped me off on these when he told me the tires were 90%, when they clearly werent, which left a sour taste in my mouth. Silly of me to even accept them too :-/

Even on 255/35s?

Great wheel that has been done many times on the EvO

+27's w/a nice wide tire is tough enough to fit correctly, so I would forgo the 5mm in the rear

The fronts, as you already know, require a spacer & +10mm sounds right. Havent brushed up on these in a while

The front spacer bore must fit the EvO hub at 67.1. Since I dont run spacers, not sure what the hub bore spec is on the spacer portion that mates w/these Enkei's.

If you can find a spacer bore that matches the Enkei that would be best otherwise you will need the rings

You don't need spacers for the rear: they will barely fit as it is. You WILL need them for the front. I can't remember what I ran, to be honest, but someone will chime in or you can search EvoM for the answer. 10mm sounds about what I had, though.

I recommend Ichiba v2 spacers. They come with studs/lug nuts and hubcentric rings. Regular spacers may not work, depending on the width you need, as you won't have enough of the OEM stud left for the wheel and lug nut.
I ran 255s on mine and they fit very nice, after rolling the rear. Not sure if I had to pull the fenders, though.

I always thought it was 'bad' to run spacers on fronts and not rears (or vice versa) on AWD?

Wonder how he was getting away with 5mm, probably because the tires on there are stock Subaru 235 michilin PSS?

Im fine with a roll and pull in the rear, there is a local guy here who is good at that

So 255/35 would require a 10mm in the front?

Could I get away with 265/35? or 40s? + spacers?

Offset (what spacers affect) doesn't matter, it's rolling diameter that matters on AWD. That part has to be the same

And the spacers are needed for fronts so they dont touch the brembos Im assuming?

Yes, that is correct! Strictly needed only to clear the calipers!

then again, I dont think I would trust this kid as far as I could throw him.

Unless he was hella stretched and cambered, he was not running a rear spacer.

I skimmed through saw a lot of 10mms

Kid lied essentialy, basically paid price of new for the NT03s and got some 60% 245s from a Subaru slapped on there. They looked stretched
With a pair of 5mm included.

My fault for not looking too close

Ill make them work. Might run 10 in the front 5 in the back just to widen in out a little, and do the rolls and pulls

I just put the same wheels on my 9 this summer so I think I'm in a decent position to help.

You need +10mm spacers for the front. I went with Ichiba V1's, part number MZ-52110. They are slip-on and come with extended studs. Forget about the 5mm in the rear; they're tough enough to fit as it is, don't make it even harder on yourself with a spacer.

The wheel bore is 72.6mm, so you need 72.6 -> 67.1 hub centering rings.

For the following fitment information, it's worth keeping in mind I run a fairly aggressive alignment due to tracking the car; -3 camber in the front, -2 in the rear. Right now I'm using the 245/40 Z1 Star specs that came with the wheels, but will be moving up to 255/35 or 265/55.

The front doesn't have trouble tucking under the fender under compression (don't forget my camber though). At full lock though, there's some rubbing against the bottom of the fender liner and side skirt. I'm hoping this will be reduced when going to the shorter 255 or 265s.

The rear is the tougher part to fit, especially for total functionality. I had the fenders rolled and pulled (maybe not pulled enough, I'm worried I might have trouble with 265s). The rear bumper bolt needed to be relocated, and part of the plastic liner near the bumper bolt needed to be trimmed.

As you can see it's not the easiest piece of work, but I don't regret going through the trouble because IMO it's on of the best looking wheels on the Evo, and the result when you've put in the work is a fitment that manages to be both aggressive and flush while remaining functional (I took the car out to the track for the first time with the NT03's last weekend and had no rubbing at all).

I can add a couple of pictures of the end result and of the modifications required later if you'd like.
