I wasn't sure which way it supposed to be installed since there wasn't any 'up/down' sign on the spring. only espelir logo on the spring.
so, for the front spring, i installed it so that i can read the espelir logo in normal way and the spring sits well on the spring lower seat.

however, i tried same way(same way meaning i can read 'Espelir' logo in normal way) on the rear spring and it would not sit on the spring lower seat. so i turned the spring upside down(now 'Espelir logo reads in upside down) and it sits perfectly on the spring lower seat.

so my question is - did i install the front spring upside down? Or it doesn't really matter whether it is upside down for the front spring?

Yep. That's correct, the rears "espelir" logo read upside down.
