Espilir Spring install...HELP!

Hello all,

I just put the Espilir ASD on my Evo VIII. They didn't drop the car but about .8 inch up front, and almost nothing in the rear. Spring rate you can tell when trying to compress them, the Espilirs are much harder to compress then the stock springs. Either way. here is my dilemma, and I am hoping someone can pipe in if they have installed them themselves and ran into the same issue.

I installed the fronts with the Espilir logo displaying correctly, so theoreticily you could read the spring if you look under there. Both ends of the spring looked the same, and didnt really bother me till I got to the backs. The backs, I had to turn the springs upside down to get them to fit the stock pillows, and the grooves correctly. Each end of the spring has different widths in the diameter of the spring. The only way they would install is updside down, so the Espilir logo is upside down.

This got me thinking, are these a directional spring? Do I need to turn the fronts over? They looked like they sat in the groovs well, and each end looked to be the same diameter on the fronts, so I really didnt give it a second thought. It was the backs that made me rethink the fronts. I looked on Espilirs sight, and could not find anything for an instruction. Hopefully someone here can help me.

Anyone?

Let the springs settle, theyll eventually drop the car to specs.

Hey, just wondering how the springs might feel from driving (I realize it's only been a day or so from install). I was looking at the ASD, A-GT, and also considering a mild coilover setup from Megan Racing.

if you dont track the active gt springs are really good combined with a rear sway bar,it is all you will need for spirited street driving
