Weight of MR BBS Wheels

Hi all,
Does anyone have a confirmed or even a reliable weight on the BBS Wheels that come with the new '05 MR? I'm wondering if these would be a good alternative to say something like a set of Volk TE-37's in 17" as far as rotating mass goes. Search button didn't turn up anything. Thanks in advance.

They're not very light. A little over 18 lbs. Get the Volks.

I believe the BBS are still 2.8lbs lighter than the stock Enkies.Lighter is still better and it is unsprung weight so all aspects of performance will be improved .

Well when you can get wheels that are 6+ lbs less than regular EVO Enkeis for much less money than the MR BBS, common sense comes into play, no?

well, currently there are a lot of people selling their MR Wheels+Tires almost brand new for around $1300. It's going to be hard to find a set of TE37's in 17x8.5 for less than 1800, unless you know a source that I don't.

Those MR wheels are gonna get filthy and prolly a pain to clean....all that brake dust has to add a pound or to

But hey, you gotta pay to play. Cost be damned, get the Volks. Cost effective, get the BBS.

57c are that cheap. 57f are more. RPF1s are even cheaper. I want some 57fs. They are VERY light.

I believe the off set is 35 or 38 mm. The wheels weight about 18.5 lbs. When I weighted my MR BBS with Yoka 046's the result was 43.5 lbs
