Rear wheel drive conversion

Just wondering if anyone has done a rear whel drive conversion on a EVO3 GSR. I want to start drifting but love my car too much to get rid of it for a RWD.

Any suggestions.

I remember reading about a Scoobie that was converted to rear drive. They had to strengthen (ie replace) the rear axels to handle the strength. I think they had diff probs too, but it was done.

i hear ya.i wanna start drifting also.i think it will be hard and cost a lot of $$$ to convert the evo.the engine i beleave has to face front to back, not side to side.thats why the subies can do it easier.not sure though

I,ve seen evo 3's that run 11 seconds on standard drivetrain, i dont think it would be too much of a problem. Just need to get those pounds to the rear.
