Canards....worth it or not?

What is your take on Canards, whether they are APR, factory Mitsubishi...or any others? Are you happy with them? Do they perform like you thought? How much were they for you to buy?

I've been wonding this also. They look cool, but do they serve enough purpose for as much as they cost? *bump

I dunno... I was wondering the same thing. The fact that they're only double-sided taped on there, It's a mystery just how much difference does it make in aerodynamics. Mitsu had one heck of a report on the pro/con of the VG, have they come out with anything to support the canards? I know one guy at the dealer was telling me that they help with front end bite... Supposedly give you a little more response in steering or something to that effect... So yeah, nothing concrete... My dealer is offering them somewhere in the neighborhood of $100... (don't quote me on that exact price, hence the "neighborhood")

I dunno... I can't see myself drilling holes into a perfectly fine bumper to support the canards on top of the tape... Just my .02 ...

I've seen screws on the factory ones, I thought. But, maybe I was wrong. I talked to a guy this past weekend from Austin named Josh and he said he feels a difference especially on the highway.

To put the factory ones on the instructions call for removing the bumper cover to put the screws in. One reason I havent gotten around to doing them.

I've heard they work really well, especially on the track around turns, braking...etc.
