I installed my Tein S springs on my evo last night and I ran into a little problem...I unthreaded the driver side strut bolt..almost running out of threads....it was a miracle that I found another bolt that fit and actually caught a bite out of the last few threads on top of the strut...the rear was a breeze to install...my question/assistance is...if anyone has any stock driverside strut laying around that they are not using, then please let me know or PM me with some prices. I could really use a used strut preferrably less than 10k miles...since I only have about 7200 k on my car. PM me with prices please...thanks....

ps...the drop/ride height is perfect...i think its still settling..(how long until it should be at its final drop height) and the ride quality is good....I like this setup...

sorry off topic but i too just got mine installed the other day as well and also happy with the ride so far. doesnt feel as rough as before..Although is seems lower than other cars equipped with the Tein S. do you have a pic of your ride?

 

a cheaper alternative would be to bring it to a machine shop and have them rethread it... $30 at the most...(speaking from experience)... haven't had a problem with them so far....
