Need tire help

I have done a search because I am going to need new tires here soon. I have read about the Toyo TS-1s, BFG KDs, and bridgestone S-03s. I am in Texas, so snow and all-season tires aren't a big deal for me.

I want something fairly similar to the stickiness of the advans, but I want better wear. (I know you can't have both). I would prefer to spend only around 150/tire upwards of 175ish. Not quite sure if all the tires I listed are in that price range, so if they're not, please elimante them for me.

Thanks

I have the S-03 from Costco. Very good tire and tread wear is 220 compare to 160 Advan's. Once these tires are broken in, they handle about the same in the dry but handle much better in the rain and it has a quiter road noise.
The bad part is the price. I got mine for $740 + tax on sale installed.
I'll say look into the Kumos high-end tire. They are lot cheaper but not sure what the tread wear is.

BF Goodrich TA/KD = best tire but expensive.
S-03 = not as expensive and pretty good. Lots of people like S-02 better.
Proxes T1-S = great rain tire, great wear, pretty good in the dry but sloppy sidewalls.
Proxes T1-R = not realeased yet, dunno if they will be. Brits really like them it seems.
Kumho Ecsta MX = cheap, really sticky, pretty good wear, good in the rain, sloppy sidewall (although not too bad if you pump up the pressure, that's what I'm running)
Falkenn Azenis RT-215 = cheap, super sticky, little better wear than Advans, but don't fit quite right. I ran the 245/45/17, and although they were slightly too tall I still really liked them.
Falken Azenis RT-615 = not released yet, but when they come out around March you can get them in 255/40/17

Not a whole lot more choices if you are looking for Advan-Like performance. If you can afford the TA/KD's by all means I would suggest them.

Edit: Tire Rack is selling the Ecsta MX 235/45/17 for $118 each, and the 255/40/17 (the ones I have) for $125 each. If you are on a budget, I don't think you can go wrong with that deal.

The Bridgestone S-03, Goodyear GS-D3, and Michelin Pilot Sport PS-2 have all been very well received by EVO owners. The majority of people really like the S-03 and PS-2

I have the Toyo Proxes 4 and I love them. I don't miss the Advans much compared to them and they are even all-seasons! Handle very well, they don't have soft sidwalls, but under extreme turns, they will slide out quicker than the old Advans. Oh these Proxes 4 are lighter than the advans and almost all of the other tires available for our car.
