Maybe you'd have better luck in the WHEEL/TIRE forum?

Price, styling, and brand preference are objective; however when you are shopping for new wheels, pay attention to fitment, size, weight, and manufacturing process. First, make sure the wheels you are getting have the correct offset. I personally would not recommend getting wheels that require spacers. Second, remember bigger is not always better. Most of the time, wheels with a larger diameter are purchased to either clear bigger aftermarket brake components or for visual enhancement, and likewise it would be silly to get a wheel that is smaller than your stock one. I would say get wider 17's for improved handling, or get 18's if you want to improve the looks at the same time. Most of the time 19's will hurt performance, not to mention the tires are damn expensive. Next, get something that is either lighter or weight the same as the stockers. Heavier wheels increase weight, which hurts performance and fuel economy. Finally, wheels today are either cast or forged. Look for the kind that are less likely to bend or wrap upon hitting a pothole. I would recommend forged monoblocks, as they are light and strong.
When it comes to tire, it really depends on your application. Street tire? All season? or track tire? The stock advans are nice sticky tires that are too expensive and wear out way too fast, and wet traction is only mediocre. Kuhmo MX is good for its price, Bridgestone S03's performs very close to the stock advans (but almost as expensive), and Falkens Ziex 512's are great to have as a winter/rainy season tire.
