clunking noise

Clunking Noise
I know there has been some feedback in the past about the clunking noise that comes from the front left and/or right sides of the evo 8. To be more specific, I drive an Evo 8 JTM. The noise I am experiencing is from the left handside of the car (given that it is a JTM - the front left passenger side) and only apparent when the engine is warmed up a little and when stationary or when parking. Has anyone with the same problem sorted it out. Understand that it could be a number of reasons. Please help.

Brakes
On a different note. What are the best after market brakes for an evo 8? My current factory fitted brake discs have started to warp a little and I am experiencing steering judder between 60 - 80 mph. Understand that the standard brakes warping is a common problem with all evo models. - The calipers and pads itself are fine. Its the discs that is the problem. Any ideas out there?

How many miles on your EVO? Any modifications? What type of sound is the clunking, metal or what not?

Its a standard JTM Evo 8 with 12k miles. The noise is more like a thud, sounds a little rubbery.

As for the brakes....I have the Bear 2 piece rotors . And Hawk HPS pads. The rotors I got from
Mach V Motorsports. There pricey... $560.00 a set for the rotors but well worth it. And the hawk pads will through you thru the windshield... They really stop. The brake dust is silver in color so it barly shows on the wheels.

I have the same problem when I pull out of my garage after I use my remote to start it for a few mins. Because my dealer sucks ***, I just ignored it for the time being, along with the other noises I am experiencing with my car. If anything breaks, I will upgrade it
