I need to get winter tires but I want to know if anyone has any experience with any of these tires... Please do not automatically vote for the Blizzak's unless you have experience with something else that did not perform as well.
i had ws-50 blizzies,,, awesome tire... i would definately buy again... except i moved from michigan to miami
i would go out in fresh snow storms just to drive in the snow... tires are great in the snow and ice.
ill miss the 3 am drifting sessions in fresh powder.
i loved being able to drive by people like they were standing still watching them fight for traction.

You should also put in the Dunlop M3's. I just bought a set. Apparently they are cheaper and they have higher ratings than the Blizzaks. Also try the Yokohama wintersports.

Just got mine put on this morning. I went with the Pirelli 210's. I live in a major city and the roads are often plowed and salted so I didn't need the all out ice and deep performance. I was looking for a tire with good wear characteristics along with the winter performance. Tirerack's reviews on the Pirelli's were very favorable.
My reviews so far (less than 10 miles on the tires). They're quieter than the Advans and response isn't as good. Which is about all I can say so far.

I have the ContiExtremes as well. Good in ice and light snow, but they'll plug up in sticky or heavy snow. Wear very well since I have 15K already and there's plenty of tread left. In fact, I'm looking for an extra one right now.
I also have the ContiExtremes. We had our first snowfall here but not a lot stuck to the ground. Everything is great so far. This has been a very good compromise between performance and all weather.
If you want straight ice/snow traction id recommend the WS-50's (which i had) i switch over to the Michi Alpines and to me much more quieter and better handling especially on the highways. But that just my experience.
I am on my second winter using Sumitomo HTR+ alll seasons. They are more than adaquate on packed snow, great in wet conditions (slush, etc) and quiet on the dry roads between storms. I got them since I would only run them maybe 5 months out of the year. They are inexpensive compared ot the other model you list.
With winter tires so much is dependant on geography. In Wyoming we get biting cold (right now it is 3 degrees) and mostly powdery snow (Not a lot of moisture content). Because of that we do not get nearly as much of the thick coats of ice as you would in Northern Michigan (Lived there too). If you do not need the best pure ice traction, you might want to look into these.

I want to get some winter tires but I don't know what to choose:
the, Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 or Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22
from tirerack the Michelin rated higher then Blizzak..... I just want to know if someone has these tires. I love in Chicago so you get the picture....
