19" RIM TIRE SIZE FOR EVO????

any other opinions or people with 19" on their cars?

30 series is fine with a 265 or bigger tire. remember 30 means 30% of the width. 265/30/19 will give you a sidewall height of 79.5 mm. 235/35/19 will give you a sidewall of 82.25 mm. not much of a difference

stock rim is 17x8 with a 235/45 tire.
8.5 should be 245, but 235 is ok.
9" wide should be 245-255.
9.5" should be 255-275

btw i have 19x8.5 bronze ce28n's going on with 235/35/19 tires in about 2 months. i'll posts when i get them on

i just have lowering springs not coilovers. some people are saying that i need to have coilovers to run a 9.5" rim because the stock strut setup is too wide. what do you think or know of? unfortunately most tire places don't stock these type of tires so i can't mount them and see and then try different ones.
