Thinking about springs

Alot of my friends have put coil overs and springs on there cars and have been unhappy. Is there any advantage to springs except for looks to a extent? I love how my baby handles and dont want to throw it off. If some1 could give me some advice on what i should do or just leave it alone? And from what i found tein seems to be the best. What do does every1 use?
Thanks
Eric

Go with Hotchkis, they will not make a product unless it helps performance wise. They are a great spring and they dont hurt ride and make for less body roll. They are a great product and from GSC for $140 shipped you cannot go wrong. They come complete with poly bumpstops and actual EVO instructions and you can call Hotchkis for excellent support if you need anything. Good luck with your search but if it was me I would buy the Hotchkis.

I can't say the Tein S-tech springs deteriorate handling, but I certainly can't feel a substantial performance gain either. I haven't push the car up to 100%, but the springs do seem to put more stress on the struts and anti-roll bars. Also, alignment becomes more tricky to adjust, causing uneven tire wear.

On the contrary, lowering springs do make the car look sharper...so why not?

People say the Tein springs are harder to align corect and the drastic lowering will takes lots of life away from your struts. Riding on the bumpstops is not fun.
