RRM Grip Spring ?'s
Hey Guys,
I am going to order the RRM V2 springs soon I have a few questions that I wanted to ask since these will be the frist springs that I have ever purchused.
1) Are the springs that hard to put in, Should I do it my self or have it done the right way and pay a shop or my Dealership to do it? I know BlackSheep has a how to around here.
2) Should I cut the bumpstops? I hear alot of people sayin they do and some saying they dont.
3) Do I really need to get the camber kit when I order my springs. And if so what do I do after i put the springs in do I have to take it to get aligned ??
Thanks guys for your help!

1 - Springs are pretty simple, you just need a decent jack or a lift. Follow the how-to and you shouldnt have any trouble. If you dont think you can do that, just about any auto shop can do it for you.
2 - no idea (at least I'm honest).
3 - people are saying to drive on them for about a week to let them settle in, then get the car aligned. Once again, any auto shop can do that for you, you don't necessarily have to go to the dealer. I don't think you need the camber bolts, as long as you have the car properly aligned. Plus their site says they're for cars dropped lower than 1.6. The RRM springs drop 1.4/1.5.

Instal is very simple. Even for the back yard mechanic or weekend warrior.
I didn't have to cut my bump stops and I have the V2s.
After I drove around on mine for 3 months I took it to a friends shop to check the alignment. It was still dead on without problems. So, I would suggest just saving your money and do not order the camber kit. Unless you purchase the Megan Coilovers.
