What should I do??

I have some extra cash saved up, but not sure what to buy.
I want to get the following but I only have funds for 1 of the sets.
1. AMS FMIC
2. AMS exhaust with Test pipe.
or
3. RRM springs, Tint, and gauges

you're not going to see really anything from the FMIC unless you're tossing in a bigger turbo.

i would say either exhaust or #3

thats not true at all, the intake temps drop considerably with the fmic especially running more boost like he is.

reason why i said he isnt really going to see anything from the FMIC. sure maybe some small drops in temp but really nothing to get excited over.

I don't have a pref. I want the car to have power to handle anything and to turn heads. Just don't know what to do first

i wouldnt consider that a small temp drop. Conversely you will see a nice increase with above stock boost levels.

Exhaust w/ cat delete will turn more heads than the FMIC upgrade simply because of sound and not the look. The FMIC upgrade might be better for you right now by looking at your Mods To-Do list since the AMS dual exit system is not done yet. If you decide to go with the exhaust, look in to the Ultimate Racing downpipe and testpipe. It will save you some cash on the test pipe and might make it a little more flexible for you to throw in the extra $100 so you can have your turbo back stage done!

I would probably get the exhaust out of those options. If u don't have a tune yet, they are the best bang for buck mod.

AMS is making a dual exit? I e-mailed them last week and they said they have no plans of making a dual exit for the RA.

Go with suspension mods first! plus it'll make you smile when you check out your car everyday!

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Everyone is always power first...

Spring and brakes - more fun around turns and stopping.

And the FMIC on the RA is tiny. Upgrading is wise.

Personally, I would go with #3, simply because that is the route that I have already decided for myself. I just need to clear some bills out first.

Here is my reasoning:

1. I think there will be more options for FMICs and exhausts.

2. The window tint will help keep the cabin temps down. I don't know about you guys, but my A/C is having a hard time keeping up with the temps.

3. Lowering the car will not only help the look, but also help the handling characteristics.

4. Gauges are one of the most over-looked mods, yet one of the most necessary. I always look to get gauges first because how, after all, will you know the impact of the future mods? This is especially true for a boost gauge.
