do you mean "offset"? If so I believe it's +35

Okay, that works as well. So will a wheel that is 17x8 5x114 with an offset of +25 clear our calipers?

I say no. Stock is 17x8 5x114.3 + 38. if you look with the +38 you only have a couple mm of clearance. So taking 13mm out (going to a +25) would definately hit the caliper.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it because a vendor was trying to sell me on some 5Zigens that are 17x8 +25 and he claims they were made for the evo. He just lost a sale.

The Vendor is correct if wheels are FN01R-C's . As discussed maybe a billion times wheel offset for the evo CAN NOT be generalized. Meaning one offset works for all wheels. Not all wheel designs are the same. Not all wheel company make and measure their wheel offsets exactly the same. If you would search I'm sure you would see a few cars pictured with the 17x8 +25 Offset. It is also the offset recomended by 5Zigen.

Other way around.....taking 13 mm from the stock offset pushes the wheel OUT 13mm, not in. 17x8 +25 FN01RC clear fine, without any modifications.

Let us know if you need a set
