what size tires should I be getting with 17x8 wheels?

i would say 245 35 17

OEM size will work just fine, and many EVO owners have had luck with a 245/40-17

that size fits wheels 8.00 to 9.50" wide so it shouldn't make a diff

oh?...then i guess i've been reading wrong...

most people get 17x8.5 so i assumed that was stock size...thanks
