I have the Hipermax II's and I have really enjoyed them to tell you the truth... the ride is just a bit more stiff than stock, but the damping is excellent in my opinion. It's hard for me to give you a comparison between the Hipermax II's and the Tein because I haven't driven a car with the Tein's. I would definitely recommend the HKS setup to you though because as always the quality and fitment is excellent and the performance is a great compromise between track and street.

I have the HKS hypermax damper IIs. The ride is about the same as stock on the street. The Teins are alittle more track oriented with a higher spring rate.

HKS Hypermax II:....392lbs(7.0k).....336lbs(6.0K)....Adjustable

Tein Flex:.................504lbs(9.0K).....448lbs(8.0K )....Adjustable

Stock(USDM):..........180lbs(3.2k)....225lbs(4.0k) ......STOCK

The HKS should work pretty good at the track but not as good as the Teins. If your going to be mainly on the street go with the HKSs

I probably will go with the HKS since I dont track my car. BTW I heard the Tein EDFC can control the stiffness on the springs so that its softer than the stock ones.

You can even go with the Tein SuperStreet if you are not tracking your car. The EDFC will be compatible. The softest setting on these coilovers is more comfortable than stock.
