Yes that much camber difference is not a good thing. They were right when they said your car only has 2 camber settings. If you look at the tab on the strut and the shape of the bolt you will see that there are only 2 ways it can go in. One setting is the camber you have on the left and one setting is the one you have on the right. Get them to fix this issue. They will also have to reset the toe on the car, as camber changes have a big effect on the toe.

You are probably not going to be able to get -1.5 unless you get them to grind the shoulder of the bolt

My (camber) bolts were left loose after the alignment was done.
I had somebody tighten them up recently and I think they are facing different directions. I will check on that later.
Question
On stock car from the factory- do they point inside or outisde the car?
Are you sure they should be pointing the same direction??

Thanks for answers

Can you check on arrow direction because I'm not sure if they should face opposite direction. Can anyone else verify this. All I know is that I saw a diagram and it mentions -1 degree when the arrow is facing inside and -2 degree when it's outside.

My question is that if the arrow should point in opposite direction then how the heck did my camber got so screw up that it's at -1.9 when it's in the -1 degree direction.

ONE more time. The arrow on the bolt should point either toward the strut or away from the strut. Its wrong in the pic. you posted. Turn one of them around, and re-set the toe.

Update:

Well I took it to another Firestone place and those idiots took an hr and did not do anything except fix the toe to 0. I told them that the front left is off and that arrow on the bolt was flipped. The idiot told me it was for an aftermarket bolt and told me they will look at it. After the alignment the bolt of the front left was untouched and they basically did nothing. Didn’t even call me over to discuss the settings until the car was out.

I took it back to the first Firestone and told them that either their tech screw up or their machine is out of whack, their machine was indicating that the front right was off when it should have been the front left. Car pulls to the right and according to the repair manual the arrow should be pointing inside and not outside which supports my claim. He explained to me that it was a 20,000 machine. They re-look at it on the machine and confirm that I was right. The first tech must have put the alignment disc the wrong way.

Below are the new results although I don’t trust the numbers. I wanted zero toe but didn’t get it. Not sure if the setting was good but I was happy they fix the camber issue so I left. How the heck was the rear right camber reading -2???

Don’t take your car to Firestone and if you do, get a printout of the camber adjustment and tell them what settings you want. Also make sure that they show you what the setting is before taking your car down. They also take forever for a realignment since it's free.

Before:
left front Right front
.-1.7 camber -1.1 camber
3.2 caster 3.7 caster
0 toe -.02 toe

left rear Right rear
-2 camber -0.2 camber
.05 toe .08 toe

After:
left front Right front
-.9 camber -1.0 camber
3.2 caster 3.7 caster
0 toe -.03 toe

left rear Right rear
-1 camber -1.2 camber
.14 toe .09 toe

Those are good settings for a street car. At the limit it will be prone to understeer.

FYI, my track settings are

Front -3.2 camber (camber plates) 0 toe
Rear -1.5 camber +.1 total toe
